With regard to draft conclusion 2, his delegation agreed with the Commission that subsequent agreements and subsequent practice in relation to a specific treaty constituted objective evidence of the parties' intention in concluding the treaty and should be taken as a guide to determining the ordinary meaning of the terms of a treaty in their context and in the light of the treaty's object and purpose.
