1. The provisions of this Agreement and Part XI shall be interpreted and applied together as a single instrument.
١ - يجري تفسير وتطبيق أحكام هذا الاتفاق والجزء الحادي عشر مشفوعين أحدهما باﻵخر بوصفهما صكا واحدا.

In the event of any inconsistency between this Agreement and Part XI, the provisions of this Agreement shall prevail.
وفي حال وجود أي تضارب بين هذا الاتفاق والجزء الحادي عشر تكون العبرة بأحكام هذا الاتفاق.

٢ - وفقا للاتفاق المتعلق بتنفيذ الجزء الحادي عشر من اتفاقية اﻷمم المتحدة لقانون البحار المؤرخة ١٠ كانون اﻷول/ ديسمبر ١٩٨٢، تفسر أحكام الاتفاق والجزء الحادي عشر من اتفاقية اﻷمم المتحدة لقانون البحار المؤرخة ١٠ كانون اﻷول/ ديسمبر ١٩٨٢ وتطبق معا بوصفهما صكا واحدا.
