Since the Programme was established, a number of housing complexes have been constructed in the Emirates of Ras al-Khaimah, Fujairah, Umm al-Qaiwain and Ajman for thousands of persons with limited incomes. وقد نفذ البرنامج منذ تأسيسه العديد من المجمعات السكنية في إمارات راس الخيمة والفجيرة وأم القيوين وعجمان استفاد منها الآلاف من ذوي الدخل المحدود،كما وصل عدد الطلبات التي وافق عليها البرنامج في عام 2007 نحو 1400 طلب للحصول على منح ومساعدات مالية.

3. The United Arab Emirates was founded on 2 December 1971 as a federation including seven emirates, namely Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ras al-Khaimah, Ajman, Umm al-Qaiwain and Fujairah. The capital of the State is in the city of Abu Dhabi.

مراكز إيواء ضحايا الاتجار بالبشر: تم تأسيسها في عام 2008 تحت مظلة هيئة الهلال الأحمر الإماراتي لتوفير الحماية لضحايا الاتجار بالبشر وتقديم الرعاية النفسية والصحية والقانونية لهؤلاء الضحايا، وقد توسع نشاط هذه المؤسسة بعد أن تم افتتاح مراكز جديدة لها في كل من إمارة الشارقة ورأس الخيمة.

54. The Ewa'a shelter in Abu Dhabi can take in 60 trafficked persons at a time, while the two other Ewa'a shelters in Sharjah and Ras al-Khaimah can accommodate 35 victims each.
