وقد جددت الجمعية العامة ولاية اللجنة مرة أخرى في قرارها ٤٧/٦٤ ألف المؤرخ ١١ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٩٢، وأكدت المسؤولية الدائمة لﻷمم المتحدة فيما يتعلق بقضية فلسطين الى أن تحل القضية من جميع جوانبها على نحو مرض وفقا للشرعية الدولية.

This responsibility has been described by the General Assembly as " a permanent responsibility towards the question of Palestine until the question is resolved in all its aspects in a satisfactory manner in accordance with international legitimacy " (General Assembly resolution 57/107 of 3 December 2002).
وقد وصفت الجمعية العامة هذه المسؤولية بأنها " مسؤولية دائمة إزاء قضية فلسطين إلى أن تحل القضية من جميع جوانبها على نحو مرض وفقا للشرعية الدولية " (قرار الجمعية العامة 57/107 المؤرخ 3 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2002).
