5. Each State Party shall take steps to ensure that all persons involved in the investigation — including the complainant, the relatives of the disappeared person, legal counsel, witnesses and those conducting the investigation — are protected against ill—treatment and any acts of intimidation or reprisal as a result of the complaint or investigation.

States are reminded of their obligation under article 13 (3) of the Declaration to protect against ill-treatment, intimidation or reprisal all persons involved in the investigation of disappearances.
وذُكّرت الدول بالتزاماتها بموجب الفقرة (3) من المادة 13من الإعلان بأن تكفل لجميع المشاركين في التحقيق في حالات الاختفاء الحماية من سوء المعاملة أو الترهيب أو الانتقام.

4. Invites Governments to adopt the necessary measures in accordance with their legislation to ensure that all persons involved in illicit trafficking in children are subject to prosecution in a manner commensurate with the seriousness of the crime;
