Her delegation, citing the case of Vincent Cochetel as an example, appealed to all States and other actors to comply with both the letter and the spirit of international humanitarian law.

We fully support the adoption of draft resolution A/52/L.29 calling on all States and other entities to become party to the Agreement for the Implementation of the Convention on the Law of the Sea.
ونؤيد تمام التأييد مشروع القرار A/52/L.29 الذي يطلب إلى جميع الدول وسائر الكيانات أن تصبح أطرافا في اتفاق تنفيذ أحكام اتفاقية قانون البحار.

In that regard, his delegation urged all States and other entities to utilize fully the pool of expertise available at the newly established International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea for the prevention and peaceful settlement of disputes during the fourth term of the Decade.
ويحث وفده في هذا الصدد جميع الدول وسائر المؤسسات على الاستفادة الكاملة من تجميع الخبرات المتاحة في المحكمة الدولية المنشأة حديثا لقانون البحار من أجل منع المنازعات وتسويتها سلميا خلال الفترة الرابعة من العقد.

2. The General Assembly also called upon all States and other entities entitled to do so pursuant to the relevant provisions of the 1995 Agreement to sign and ratify or accede to it and to consider applying it provisionally.
٢ - كما طلبت الجمعية العامة إلى جميع الدول وسائر الهيئات التي لها الحق في التوقيع على الاتفاق والتصديق عليه والانضمام إليه، عملا باﻷحكام ذات الصلة من اتفاق عام ١٩٩٥، أن تفعل ذلك، وأن تنظر في تطبيقه مؤقتا.

3. Calls upon all States and other entities referred to in article 1, paragraph 2 (b), of the Agreement that have not done so to ratify or accede to it and to consider applying it provisionally;

45. Calls upon all States and other parties concerned to continue to cooperate with the Special Representative, to implement the commitments they have undertaken, to consider carefully all the recommendations of the Special Representative and to address the issues identified, and welcomes the continued support and voluntary contributions that are being provided to the work of the Special Representative;
45- تطلب إلى جميع الدول وسائر الأطراف المعنية أن تواصل التعاون مع الممثل الخاص، وأن تفي بالالتزامات التي تعهدت بها، وأن تنظر بعناية في جميع توصيات الممثل الخاص، وأن تعالج القضايا المحددة، وترحب بما يقدَّم لعمل الممثل الخاص من دعم مستمر وتبرعات؛

(a) all States and other parties to armed conflict to respect fully international humanitarian law and, in this regard, calls upon States parties to respect fully the provisions of the Geneva Conventions of 12 August 1949, and the Additional Protocols thereto of 8 June 1977;
(أ) جميع الدول وسائر الأطراف في النزاعات المسلحة أن تحترم القانون الإنساني الدولي احتراماً تاماً، ويناشد في هذا الصدد الدول الأطراف أن تحترم احتراماً تاماً أحكام اتفاقيات جنيف المبرمة في 12 آب/أغسطس 1949، والبروتوكولين الإضافيين الملحقين بها المؤرخين 8 حزيران/يونيه 1977؛

(a) all States and other parties to armed conflict to respect fully international humanitarian law and, in this regard, calls upon States parties to respect fully the provisions of the Geneva Conventions, of 12 August 1949, and the Additional Protocols thereto of 8 June 1977;
