By adopting this resolution, the Assembly, inter alia, called for all the nuclear-weapon States to take the following practical steps, which would lead to nuclear disarmament:
وفي جملة أمور، دعت الجمعية العامة باعتمادها هذا القرار جميع الدول الحائزة للأسلحة النووية إلى اتخاذ الخطوات العملية التالية التي من شأنها أن تُفضي إلى نزع السلاح النووي:

1. Recognizes that the time is now opportune for all the nuclear-weapon States to take effective disarmament measures to achieve the total elimination of these weapons at the earliest possible time;
1 - تسلم بأن الوقت أصبح الآن مؤاتيا لكي تتخذ جميع الدول الحائزة للأسلحة النووية تدابير فعالة لنـزع السلاح بهدف إزالة هذه الأسلحة تماما في أقرب وقت ممكن؛

We also call for greater transparency by all the nuclear-weapon States in their nuclear disarmament efforts.
كما ندعو كل الدول الحائزة للأسلحة النووية إلى إبداء قدر أكبر من الشفافية في جهودها في مجال نزع السلاح النووي.

Taking note further of the unilateral declarations made by all the nuclear-weapon States on their policies of non-use or non-threat of use of nuclear weapons against the non-nuclear-weapon States,
وإذ تحيط علما كذلك بالإعلانات التي أصدرتها كل من الدول الحائزة للأسلحة النووية فيما يتعلق بسياساتها بشأن عدم استعمال الأسلحة النووية أو التهديد باستعمالها ضد الدول غير الحائزة للأسلحة النووية،

5. all the nuclear-weapon States should support the efforts to establish nuclear-weapon-free zones, respect the status of those zones and assume the relevant obligations.
5 - ينبغي لجميع الدول الحائزة للأسلحة النووية أن تدعم الجهود الرامية إلى إقامة مناطق خالية من الأسلحة النووية، واحترام وضع تلك المناطق والوفاء بجميع الالتزامات المتصلة بذلك.

After all the nuclear-weapon States have deposited their instruments of ratification with the Depositary, and no earlier than ... after the Treaty is opened for signature, all States that have deposited their instruments of ratification with the Depositary shall have the right, in accordance with the procedures specified in this paragraph, to waive the requirements set forth in paragraph 1 of this Article.
]٣- بعد أن تودع كل الدول الحائزة لﻷسلحة النووية صكوك تصديقها لدى الوديع، وبعد فتح المعاهدة للتوقيع بما لا يقل عن ...، يكون لكل الدول التي أودعت صكوك تصديقها لدى الوديع الحق، وفقا لﻹجراءات المحددة في هذه الفقرة، في التنازل عن الاشتراطات المبينة في الفقرة ١ من هذه المادة.

For the purpose of enhancing the credibility of the NPT, it is also important for all the nuclear-weapon States to faithfully implement their article VI nuclear disarmament obligations.
ولأغراض تعزيز مصداقية معاهدة عدم الانتشار، من الأهمية بمكان أيضا لجميع الدول الحائزة للأسلحة النووية أن تنفذ بصدق التزاماتها بنزع السلاح النووي بموجب المادة السادسة من المعاهدة.

The Conference believes that all the nuclear-weapon States should commit themselves to a definite, time-bound programme of action for the continued reduction of nuclear weapons, leading to their total elimination.

ولكن نظرا للتفاوت الكبير بين القوات النووية للدول الحائـــزة لﻷسلحة النووية، ونظرا إلى أن بعض البلدان ما زالت متمسكة بمبدأ الردع النووي القائم على البدء في استخدام اﻷسلحة النووية، فإن من السابق ﻷوانه الطلب من جميع الدول الحائزة لﻷسلحة النووية أن تعتمد نفس التدابير.
