The Chairman, reporting on the International Conference on Palestine Refugees held on 29 and 30 April 2008 at the headquarters of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in Paris, said that the objective of the conference had been to assess the situation of Palestine refugees and examine the role of the United Nations in alleviating their plight.
