12. More generally, the Special Rapporteur wishes to emphasize the increasingly beneficial character of the annual meetings of special rapporteurs/representatives, independent experts and chairpersons of working groups of the special procedures of the Commission on Human rights.

1. Annual meetings of special rapporteurs/representatives, experts and chairpersons of working groups of the special procedures of the Commission on Human Rights and the Human Rights Council have been organized since 1994.
1- تُعقد منذ عام 1994 اجتماعات سنوية للمقررين/الممثلين الخاصين والخبراء ورؤساء الأفرقة العاملة في إطار الإجراءات الخاصة للجنة حقوق الإنسان ومجلس حقوق الإنسان.

The Special Rapporteur visited Geneva from 24 to 28 June to attend the ninth annual meeting of the special rapporteurs/representatives, independent experts and chairpersons of working groups of the special procedures of the Commission on Human Rights and of the advisory services programme.

11. From 21 to 25 June 2004, the Special Rapporteur chaired the eleventh meeting of special rapporteurs/representatives, independent experts and chairpersons of working groups of the special procedures of the Commission on Human Rights and of the advisory services programme.

16. From 31 May to 3 June 1999, the Special Rapporteur took part in the sixth meeting of special rapporteurs, representatives, experts and chairpersons of working groups of the special procedures of the Commission on Human Rights.

The fifth joint meeting was held with the participants of the tenth meeting of special rapporteurs/representatives, independent experts and chairpersons of working groups of the special procedures of the Commission on Human Rights and of the advisory services programme.
وعُقد الاجتماع المشترك الخامس مع المشاركين في الاجتماع العاشر للمقررين/الممثلين الخاصين، والخبراء المستقلين ورؤساء الأفرقة العاملة المعنية بالإجراءات الخاصة للجنة حقوق الإنسان وببرنامج الخدمات الاستشارية.

The meeting was co-chaired by Vitit Muntarbhorn (Chairperson of the meeting of special rapporteurs/representatives, experts and chairpersons of working groups of the special procedures of the Commission on Human Rights) and Ms. Chanet.

In this regard, it may be noted that a meeting of special rapporteurs/representatives, experts and chairpersons of working groups of the special procedures of the Commission and of the advisory services programme was held from 26 to 29 May 1998, the report of which has been submitted to the Commission at its fifty—fifth session (E/CN.4/1999/3 and Corr.1 and Add.1 and Add.1/Corr.1 and 2).
ومن الجدير بالذكر في هذا الصدد أنه انعقد اجتماع للمقررين الخاصين/الممثلين والخبراء ورؤساء الأفرقة العاملة المعنية للإجراءات الخاصة للجنة وبرنامج الخدمات الاستشارية من 26 إلى 29 أيار/مايو 1998، حيث قدم تقريره إلى اللجنة في دورتها الخامسة والخمسين (E/CN.4/1999/3، وAdd.1 وAdd.1/Corr.1 وCorr.2).

10. Recommends that the Chairperson of the Sub-Commission or his/her representative attend the meeting of special rapporteurs/representatives, experts and chairpersons of working groups of the special procedures of the Commission and the meeting of chairpersons of treaty bodies, so as to facilitate coordination between the Sub-Commission and other relevant bodies and procedures of the United Nations, in accordance with their respective mandates;
10- توصي بأن يحضر رئيس اللجنة الفرعية أو ممثله اجتماع المقررين الخاصين والممثلين الخاصين والخبراء ورؤساء الأفرقة العاملة المعنية بالإجراءات الخاصة للجنة واجتماع رؤساء الهيئات المنشأة بموجب معاهدات، بغية تيسير التنسيق بين اللجنة الفرعية وسائر الهيئات والإجراءات المعنية التابعة للأمم المتحدة، وفقاً لولاية كل منها؛

13. Recommends that the Chairperson of the SubCommission or his/her representative attend the meeting of special rapporteurs/representatives, experts and chairpersons of working groups of the special procedures of the Commission and the meeting of chairpersons of treaty bodies, so as to facilitate coordination between the SubCommission and other relevant bodies and procedures of the United Nations, in accordance with their respective mandates;
13- توصي بأن يحضر رئيس اللجنة الفرعية أو ممثله اجتماع المقررين الخاصين والممثلين الخاصين والخبراء ورؤساء الأفرقة العاملة المعنية بالإجراءات الخاصة للجنة واجتماع رؤساء الهيئات المنشأة بموجب معاهدات، بغية تيسير التنسيق بين اللجنة الفرعية وسائر الهيئات والإجراءات المعنية التابعة للأمم المتحدة، وفقاً لولاية كل منها؛
