The Committee also decided to amend document CERD/C/70/Rev.4 (general guidelines regarding the form and content of the reports to be submitted by States parties under article 9, paragraph 1, of the Convention) in order to update the references to general recommendations and to eliminate the request for information on the status of relations between the reporting State and the racist regimes of southern Africa.
كما قررت اللجنة تعديل الوثيقة CERD/C/70/Rev.4 (المبادئ التوجيهية العامة المتعلقة بشكل ومحتويات التقارير التي يتعين أن تقدمها الدول الأطراف بموجب الفقرة 1 من المادة 9 من الاتفاقية) بغية استكمال الإحالات إلى التوصيات العامة والقضاء على طلب توفير المعلومات عن مركز العلاقات بين الدولة المقدمة للتقرير والأنظمة العنصرية في الجنوب الأفريقي.

3- وخلال عملية إعداد التقرير، التي كانت مثمرة ومثيرة للاهتمام، بُذلت كافة الجهود لاتباع، إلى أبعد الحدود، المبادئ التوجيهية العامة الواسعة النطاق بشأن شكل ومضمون التقارير التي تقدمها الدول الأطراف إلى لجنة الحقوق الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية.
