We are of the view that the establishment of internationally recognized nuclear-weapon-free zones, on the basis of arrangements freely arrived at among the States of the region concerned, enhances global and regional peace and security, strengthens the nuclear non-proliferation regime and contributes towards realizing the objectives of nuclear disarmament.
إننا نرى أن إنشاء مناطق منزوعة السلاح النووي معترف بها دوليا على أساس الترتيبات التي توصلت إليها دول المنطقة المعنية بمحض إرادتها يعزز السلم والأمن العالمي والإقليمي ويقوي نظام عدم الانتشار النووي ويسهم في تحقيق أهداف نزع السلاح النووي.
