The Committee further recommends that the State party consider ratifying the relevant Hague Conventions, in particular, Convention No. 34 on Jurisdiction, Applicable Law, Recognition, Enforcement and Cooperation in respect of Parental Responsibility and Measures for the Protection of Children.
كما توصي اللجنة الدولة الطرف بالنظر في التصديق على اتفاقيات لاهاي ذات الصلة، ولا سيما الاتفاقية رقم 34 المتعلقة بالولاية القانونية والقانون المنطبق والاعتراف والتنفيذ والتعاون في مجال المسؤولية الأبوية وتدابير حماية الأطفال.

The system of patronage (kafala) was introduced as a protective measure in the Convention on Jurisdiction, Applicable Law Recognition, Enforcement and Cooperation in respect of Parental Responsibility and Measures for the Protection of Children of 19 October 1996.
كما عُمل على إدخال نظام الكفالة كإجراء حمائي في الاتفاقية الدولية المؤرخة 19 تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 1996 المتعلقة بالاختصاص والاعتراف والتنفيذ والتعاون في مجال المسؤولية الأبوية والتدابير الحمائية للأطفال.

(d) To consider ratifying the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction of 1980 and the Hague Convention on Jurisdiction, Applicable Law, Recognition, Enforcement and Cooperation in respect of Parental Responsibility and Measures for the Protection of Children of 1996;
(د) دراسة إمكانية التصديق على اتفاقية لاهاي لعام 1980 بشأن الجوانب المدنية لاختطاف الأطفال على الصعيد الدولي، واتفاقية لاهاي بشأن الولاية القانونية والقانون المنطبق والاعتراف والتنفيذ والتعاون في مجال المسؤولية الأبوية والتدابير لحماية الأطفال، لعام 1996؛

Mr. KOTLYAR (Ukraine) said that his Government had acceded to the Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction and the Convention on Jurisdiction, Applicable Law, Recognition, Enforcement and Cooperation in respect of Parental Responsibility and Measures for the Protection of Children (question 23).
37- السيد كوتليار (أوكرانيا) قال إن حكومته قد انضمت إلى الاتفاقية المتعلقة بالجوانب المدنية للاختطاف الدولي للأطفال وكذلك على الاتفاقية المتعلقة بالولاية القانونية والقانون المنطبق والاعتراف والتنفيذ والتعاون في مجال المسؤولية الأبوية والتدابير الكفيلة بحماية الأطفال (السؤال رقم 23).

44. The Committee recommends that the State party consider ratifying the Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Decisions relating to Maintenance Obligations, the Convention on the Law Applicable to Maintenance Obligations, and the Convention on Jurisdiction, Applicable Law, Recognition, Enforcement and Cooperation in respect of Parental Responsibility and Measures for the Protection of Children.
44- وتوصي اللجنة الدولة الطرف بالنظر في التصديق على الاتفاقية بشأن الاعتراف بالأحكام المتعلقة بالالتزام بالنفقة وتنفيذها، والاتفاقية بشأن القانون المنطبق على التزامات النفقة تجاه الأطفال، والاتفاقية بشأن الولاية القانونية والقانون المنطبق والاعتراف والتنفيذ والتعاون في مجال المسؤولية الأبوية والتدابير لحماية الأطفال.

138. To ensure appropriate international cooperation and child protection in such situations, States are encouraged to ratify or accede to the Hague Convention of 19 October 1996 on Jurisdiction, Applicable Law, Recognition, Enforcement and Cooperation in respect of Parental Responsibility and Measures for the Protection of Children.
138- وضماناً لتحقيق ما يلزم من تعاون دولي وحماية للطفل في هذه الحالات، تُشجّع الدول على التصديق على اتفاقية لاهاي المؤرخة 19 تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 1996 المتعلقة بالولاية القانونية والقانون المنطبق والاعتراف والتنفيذ والتعاون في مجال المسؤولية الأبوية والتدابير لحماية الأطفال، أو على الانضمام إلى هذه الاتفاقية.
