Today, the Conference on Disarmament is honoured with the presence of two distinguished guests who have responded to our invitation to address the Conference - firstly, His Excellency Mr. Juan Manuel Gómez Robledo, UnderSecretary for Human Rights and Multilateral Affairs of Mexico, and secondly, His Excellency Mr. Miguel Angel Moratinos, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Spain.

The Intergovernmental Conference on Middle-Income Countries was held in Madrid on 1 and 2 March 2007. It was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Spain and co-sponsored by the Department of Economic and Social Affairs of the Secretariat of the United Nations.
عقد في مدريد يومي 1 و 2 آذار/مارس 2007 المؤتمر الحكومي الدولي المعني بالبلدان المتوسطة الدخل، الذي نظمته وزارة الخارجية والتعاون في إسبانيا وشاركت في رعايته إدارة الشؤون الاقتصادية والاجتماعية التابعة للأمانة العامة للأمم المتحدة.
