It is particularly important that the entry into force enabled the Secretary-General and depositary of the Convention to convene the First Meeting of States Parties, which will take place in the second week of November this year in Vientiane, the capital of the Lao People's Democratic Republic.
ومن الأهمية بمكان أن بدء نفاذ الاتفاقية مكّن الأمين العام والوديع للاتفاقية من عقد الاجتماع الأول للدول الأطراف في الأسبوع الثاني من تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر هذا العام فى فينتيان، عاصمة جمهورية لاو الديمقراطية الشعبية.
