In line with the Convention, the present recommendation employs the terms " special measures " or " special and concrete measures " and encourages States parties to employ terminology that clearly demonstrates the relationship of their laws and practice to these concepts in the Convention.

Calls on States parties to integrate the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Optional Protocols thereto in the universal periodic review process, and encourages States parties to take into account the relevant recommendations derived thereof in implementing the Convention and the Optional Protocols thereto;
20- يهيب بالدول الأطراف أن تدرج في عملية الاستعراض الدوري الشامل أحكامَ اتفاقية حقوق الطفل وبروتوكوليها الاختياريين، ويشجع الدول الأطراف على أن تضع في اعتبارها التوصيات ذات الصلة المستمدة من الاستعراض لدى تنفيذها أحكام الاتفاقية وبروتوكوليها الاختياريين؛
