It was emphasized that the situation that had developed, despite considerable efforts by the authorities of Afghanistan, placed greater responsibility on the international community to support the authorities in their efforts to eliminate illicit opium poppy cultivation and foster stability and security.
وشُدّد على أن الوضع الذي نشأ، رغم ما تبذلــه السلطات الأفغانيــة من جهود كبيرة، يلقي على المجتمع الدولي مسؤولية أكبر في دعم جهود تلك السلطات الرامية إلى القضاء على زراعة الأفيون غير المشروعة وتعزيز الاستقرار والأمن.
