4. Welcome the initiative of the General Assembly to proclaim the International Year of Youth: Dialogue and Mutual Understanding (12 August 2010-11 August 2011), and call on Governments, civil society, the private sector and international cooperation agencies to participate actively in all activities related to the Year and in the United Nations Conference on Youth;

13. At its 36th meeting, on 22 November, the Committee had before it a draft decision entitled " Arrangements for accreditation and participation in the preparatory process and in the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development of relevant non-governmental organizations and other major groups " (A/C.2/66/L.53), submitted by the Bureau of the Committee.
13 - كان معروضا على اللجنة، في جلستها 36 التي عقدت في 22 تشرين الثاني/ نوفمبر، مشروع مقرر بعنوان " ترتيبات اعتماد المنظمات الحكومية وغيرها من المجموعات الرئيسية المعنية ومشاركتها في العملية التحضيرية وفي مؤتمر الأمم المتحدة للتنمية المستدامة " (A/C.2/66/L.53) قدمه مكتب اللجنة.

The Committee decided that its Working Group will examine all proposals for accreditation and participation of relevant non-governmental organizations and other major groups that may participate as observers in the preparatory process and in the United Nations Conference on Housing and Sustainable Urban Development (Habitat III) (A/CONF.226/PC.1/3 and A/CONF.226/PC.1/INF/4).
