As decided by the General Assembly in its resolution 63/227, the Conference has the aim of, among other things, undertaking a comprehensive appraisal of the implementation of the Brussels Programme of Action by the least developed countries and their development partners, sharing best practices and lessons learned and identifying obstacles and constraints encountered as well as actions and initiatives needed to overcome them.
ويهدف المؤتمر، حسبما ورد في قرار الجمعية العامة 63/227، من بين أمور أخرى، إلى إجراء تقييم شامل لتنفيذ أقل البلدان نموا وشركائها في التنمية لبرنامج عمل بروكسل، وتبادل أفضل الممارسات والدروس المستفادة، وتحديد العقبات والمعوقات التي صودفت أثناء ذلك، وكذلك الإجراءات والمبادرات اللازمة للتغلب عليها.

(a) Undertake a comprehensive review of the implementation of the Programme of Action by least developed countries and their development partners, share best practices and lessons learned and identify obstacles and constraints encountered and actions and initiatives needed to overcome them, as well as new challenges and emerging issues;
