UNIFEM staff in the field, a total of 11 regional programme advisers, have been gathering information from governmental and non-governmental organizations working in the area of violence against women on the types of interventions they are planning in order to make significant progress towards the elimination of violence against women.
٨ - أما موظفي صندوق اﻷمم المتحدة اﻹنمائي للمرأة في الميدان، البالغ مجموعهم ١١ مستشارا للبرامج اﻹقليمية، فما زالوا يعكفون على جمع المعلومات من الهيئات الحكومية والمنظمات غير الحكومية العاملة في مجال مكافحة العنف ضد المرأة، وذلك بشأن المبادرات التي تخطط لها تلك الهيئات والمنظمات بهدف إحراز تقدم ملموس نحو القضاء على العنف ضد المرأة.

(b) Enhancing cooperation in accordance with existing arrangements with other relevant intergovernmental organizations, as well as expanding interaction with civil society, in particular research and academic institutions and non-governmental organizations working in the area of disarmament and non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and their delivery systems;
