وإذ تشير أيضا الى أن كل عضو في اﻷمم المتحدة يتعهد، بموجب المادة ١٠٠ من الميثاق، باحترام الصفة الدولية البحتة لمسؤوليات اﻷمين العام والموظفين وبألا يسعى الى التأثير فيهم عند اضطلاعهم بمسؤولياتهم،

١٦ - بموجب المادة ١٠٠ من الميثاق، يتعهد كل عضو في اﻷمم المتحدة باحترام الصفة الدولية البحت لمسؤوليات اﻷمين العام والموظفين وبألا يسعى الى التأثير فيهم عند اضطلاعهم بمسؤولياتهم.

" أعلن وأعد رسميا بأن أمارس بكل ولاء وحصافة وضمير المهام المسندة إليﱠ بصفتي موظفا مدنيا دوليا في اﻷمم المتحدة، وأن أؤدي هذه المهام وأنظﱢم سلوكي واضعا نصب عيني مصالح اﻷمم المتحدة وحدها، وألا ألتمس أو أقبل أية تعليمات فيما يتعلق بأداء واجباتي من أية حكومة أو جهة أخرى خارجة عن المنظمة.
