وإذ تؤكد من جديد الإعلان العالمي لحقوق الإنسان الذي يرد فيه بخاصة أن لكل شخص الحق في التمتع بمستوى معيشي لائق يضمن له ولأسرته الصحة والرفاه، بما في ذلك الغذاء،

30. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights, article 25, states that everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and of his family.
30- وتنص المادة 25 من الإعلان العالمي لحقوق الإنسان على أنه لكل شخص الحق في مستوى من المعيشة كاف للمحافظة على الصحة والرفاهية له ولأسرته.

Consistent with paragraph 1 of article 25 of the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights that " Everyone has a right to a standard of living for the health and well-being of himself and of his family " , we believe that government ought to keep the tax burden on families as low as possible.
واتساقا مع الفقرة 1 من المادة 25 من إعلان الأمم المتحدة لحقوق الإنسان، فإن " لكل شخص الحق في مستوى من المعيشة كاف للمحافظة على الصحة والرفاهية له ولأسرته " ونؤمن بأنه ينبغي للحكومة أن تبقي عبء الضرائب على الأسر منخفضا بقدر الإمكان.

" Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and of his family, including food, clothing, housing and medical care and necessary social services " : that principle is enshrined in article 25 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, whose sixtieth anniversary we celebrate this year.
" لكل شخص الحق في مستوى من المعيشة كاف للمحافظة على الصحة والرفاه له ولأسرته. ويتضمن ذلك التغذية والملبس والمسكن والعناية الطبية وكذلك الخدمات الاجتماعية اللازمة " : وذلك المبدأ نصت عليه المادة 25 من الإعلان العالمي لحقوق الإنسان الذي نحتفل هذا العام بالذكرى السنوية الستين لصدوره.
