They also play a pivotal role in collecting and diffusing information on climate science, in cooperation with national and regional bodies, as well as with the media and other elements of civil society.

To help bring this about, we will make representations as appropriate, individually or together, including at regional and multilateral meetings, in order to make the treaty a focus of attention at the highest political levels. The scientific community, non-governmental organizations and other elements of civil society also have a role to play in raising awareness of and in strengthening support for the treaty.
وتحقيقا لذلك سوف ننادي حسب الاقتضاء، بجعل المعاهدة مصب الاهتمام في أعلى المستويات السياسية، فرادى أو مجتمعين، بما فـــي ذلك خلال الاجتماعات الإقليمية والمتعددة الأطراف؛ كما أن للأوساط العلمية والمنظمات غير الحكومية وغيرها من عناصر المجتمع المدني دورا تلعبه في زيادة الوعي بالمعاهدة وحشد التأييد لها.

(l) Encourage cooperation with non-governmental organizations and other elements of civil society to raise awareness of and support for the Treaty and its objectives, as well as the need for its early entry into force.
(ل) نشجّع التعاون مع المنظمات غير الحكومية وسائر عناصر المجتمع المدني من أجل دعم المعاهدة وإذكاء الوعي بها وبأهدافها وبضرورة التبكير ببدء نفاذها.

We must involve nongovernmental organizations and other elements of civil society.
ولا بد لنا من إشراك المنظمات غير الحكومية وعناصر المجتمع المدني الأخرى.

3. Policies, programmes and other measures established in accordance with this article shall, as appropriate, include cooperation with non-governmental organizations, other relevant organizations and other elements of civil society.
3- يتعين أن تشمل السياسات والبرامج والتدابير الأخرى التي توضع وفقا لهذه المادة، حسب الاقتضاء، التعاون مع المنظمات غير الحكومية أو غيرها من المنظمات ذات الصلة وسائر عناصر المجتمع الأهلي.

وأخيرا، أكدت معظم الدول التي ردّت على الاستبيان تعاون السلطات الوطنية المختصة مع المنظمات غير الحكومية والعناصر الأخرى من المجتمع المدني في دعم آليات تعافي ضحايا الاتجار بالأشخاص.
