99- ولاحظت أذربيجان أن اللجنة المعنية بالقضاء على التمييز العنصري قد أكدت مجدداً أن التصدي للأزمات المالية والاقتصادية لا ينبغي أن يؤدي إلى وضع قد يُفضي إلى العنصرية والتمييز العنصري وكره الأجانب، وما يتصل بذلك من تعصب ضد الأجانب وأفراد الأقليات.

26- وكررت اللجنة التأكيد بأن الرد على الأزمتين المالية والاقتصادية لا ينبغي أن يؤدي إلى وضع قد يغذي العنصرية والتمييز العنصري وكره الأجانب وما يتصل بذلك من تعصب إزاء الأجانب والمهاجرين والأشخاص المنتمين للأقليات.

12- تطلب إلى الأمين العام والمفوض السامي تقديم جميع المساعدات اللازمة لتعزيز قدرة مفوضية الأمم المتحدة السامية لحقوق الإنسان على معالجة قضايا الأقليات، والتماس التبرعات من أجل مشاركة ممثلي المنظمات غير الحكومية والأشخاص المنتمين إلى أقليات في أعمال الفريق العامل؛

13. Requests the High Commissioner to strengthen the technical cooperation programme of her office regarding minorities and to seek voluntary contributions towards participation of representatives of nongovernmental organizations and persons belonging to minorities in the work of the Working Group;
