The present report is submitted to the General Assembly in compliance with its request contained in resolution 64/294 entitled " Strengthening emergency relief, rehabilitation, reconstruction and prevention in the wake of devastating floods in Pakistan " .
يقدم هذا التقرير إلى الجمعية العامة امتثالا لطلبها الوارد في القرار 64/294 المعنون تعزيز " الإغاثة في حالات الطوارئ والإصلاح والتعمير والوقاية في أعقاب الفيضانات المدمرة في باكستان " .

The draft resolution that I have presented to the Assembly in document A/64/L.66, entitled " Strengthening emergency relief, rehabilitation, reconstruction and prevention in the wake of devastating floods in Pakistan " , is in my view an important and timely response by this Assembly to the situation at hand.
إن مشروع القرار الذي عرضته عليكم، الصادر تحت الرمز A/64/L.66 والمعنون " تعزيز الإغاثة في حالات الطوارئ والإصلاح والتعمير والوقاية في أعقاب الفيضانات المدمرة في باكستان " ، يمثل برأيي، استجابة هامة وفي حينها من جانب هذه الجمعية العامة إزاء الحالة التي نواجهها.
