8. )ز( يعني مصطلح " الضرر الجسيم الذي يلحق بالبيئة البحرية " أي أثر يصيب البيئة البحرية من جراء اﻷنشطة في المنطقة، ويمثل تغييرا ضارا ذا شأن في البيئة البحرية يجري تقديره وفقا للقواعد واﻷنظمة والاجراءات التي اعتمدتها السلطة استنادا الى المعايير والممارسات المعترف بها دوليا؛
