The General Assembly, by its resolution 39/46, adopted and opened for signature, ratification and accession the Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment contained in the annex to that resolution, and called upon all Governments to consider signing and ratifying the Convention as a matter of priority.
1 - اعتمدت الجمعية العامة، بموجب قرارها 39/46، اتفاقية مناهضة التعذيب وغيره من ضروب المعاملة أو العقوبة القاسية أو اللاإنسانية أو المهينة، الواردة في مرفق ذلك القرار، وفتحت باب التوقيع والتصديق عليها والانضمام إليها، ودعت جميع الحكومات إلى النظر في التوقيع والتصديق على الاتفاقية على سبيل الأولوية.

Following the initial study on the feasibility of signing and ratifying the Convention and on the compatibility of domestic legislation with its provisions, no additional analysis was found to be necessary. The principles that guarantee strict compliance with the provisions of the Convention are already enshrined in Cuba's substantive and procedural legislation.
وبعد دراسة جدوى التوقيع والتصديق على الاتفاقية وتواؤم التشريعات الوطنية مع الصك القانوني الدولي، لم يتبين أن من الضروري إجراء دراسات أخرى لأن التشريعات الأساسية والتنظيمية الكوبية تتضمن مبادئ تكفل الامتثال الدقيق لما تنص عليه اتفاقية القضاء على جميع أشكال التمييز ضد المرأة.
