Within this framework, indigenous peoples have participated in sessions of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention and in meetings of the Ad Hoc Open-ended Intersessional Working Group on Article 8 (j) and related provisions of the Convention on Biological Diversity, which was established to advance a programme of work for implementation of that article.

85 - عُقد الاجتماع الثامن للفريق العامل المفتوح باب العضوية المخصص المعني بالمادة 8 (ي) والأحكام المتصلة بها من اتفاقية التنوع البيولوجي في الفترة من 7 إلى 11 تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2013.

8. On protection of children from all forms of violence, abuse and neglect (a clear commitment under article 19 and related provisions of the Convention), the Committee feels that the general reference to this objective in paragraph 36 (a) is not appropriately reflected in the more specific " strategies and actions " described in paragraph 37.

Where an issue arises that is not expressly addressed in the parties' termination agreement, however, a court has asserted that, pursuant to article 7 (2), the gap should be filled not by recourse to national law but by reference to the principles of article 81 and related provisions of the CISG.
