يطلب إلى الوكالات المتخصصة وغيرها من مؤسسات منظومة الأمم المتحدة والمنظمات الدولية والإقليمية دراسة واستعراض الأحوال في كل إقليم بغية اتخاذ التدابير الملائمة للإسراع بالتقدم في القطاعات الاقتصادية والاجتماعية للأقاليم؛

(ii) Developing a programme of coordination with the specialized agencies and other organizations of the United Nations system, and international and regional organizations, to examine and review conditions in each Territory so as to take appropriate measures to accelerate progress in the economic and social sectors of the Territories;

The specialized agencies and other organizations of the United Nations system, as well as international and regional organizations, should therefore be invited to examine and review conditions in each of the Territories, commensurate with the pressing needs of the peoples concerned for increased transfer of resources, technology and know-how, and take appropriate measures to accelerate economic and social progress.
ولذا ينبغي دعوة الوكالات المتخصصة والمؤسسات اﻷخرى في منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة، فضلا عن المنظمات الدولية والاقليمية، الى بحث واستعراض الظروف في كل من هذه اﻷقاليم، بما يتسق والحاجة الماسة للشعوب المعنية الى زيادة نقل الموارد والتكنولوجيا والدراية التقنية، واتخاذ التدابير المناسبة لتعجيل تقدمها الاقتصادي والاجتماعي.

In paragraph 6 of its resolution 61/231, the General Assembly requested that the specialized agencies and other organizations of the United Nations system and international and regional organizations examine and review conditions in each territory so as to take appropriate measures to accelerate progress in the economic and social sectors of the territories.
2 - وفي الفقرة 6 من القرار 61/231، طلبت الجمعية العامة إلى الوكالات المتخصصة وغيرها من مؤسسات منظومة الأمم المتحدة والمنظمات الدولية والإقليمية دراسة واستعراض الأحوال في كل إقليم من أجل اتخاذ التدابير الملائمة للتعجيل بتقدم الأقاليم في القطاعين الاقتصادي والاجتماعي.
