As a result, the Commission issued as an interim document a revised set of recommendations for the guidance of contractors and sponsoring States in relation to training programmes under plans of work for exploration (ISBA/19/LTC/14) with the aim of providing advice to contractors on the implementation of training obligations and assisting the Secretary-General in negotiations with contractors on the development of training programmes.
