The Committee encourages the State party to take sustained measures, including temporary special measures in accordance with article 4, paragraph 1, of the Convention and the Committee's general recommendations 25 and 23, to accelerate women's full and equal participation in elected and appointed bodies, including at the international level.
81 - تشجع اللجنة الدولة الطرف على اتخاذ تدابير مدعّمة، تشمل تدابير خاصة مؤقتة طبقا للفقرة 1 من المادة 4، من الاتفاقية وللتوصيتين العامتين للجنة رقمي 25 و 23، لتعجيل مشاركة المرأة بشكل كامل وعلى قدم المساواة في الهيئات التي تُشغل وظائفها بالانتخاب وبالتعيين، بما في ذلك على المستوى الدولي.

Please indicate whether there has been any discussion on the use of temporary special measures to allow for preferential treatment of women, including through quotas, in accordance with article 4, paragraph 1 of the Convention and the Committee's general recommendations Nos. 23 and 25.
