81. By adopting draft resolution A/C.2/49/L.30, entitled " Elaboration of an international convention to combat desertification in those countries experiencing serious drought and/or desertification, particularly in Africa " , the General Assembly would, inter alia, decide that the work of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee and the interim secretariat would continue to be funded through existing United Nations budgetary resources.
