If one remains aware of this, and if one does not attempt to impose on the Union the disagreements that America's current leaders and policies incite, an obvious conclusion comes to mind. The area of peace that is Europe is bound to grow further in the future, first to Ex-Yugoslavia, then to Turkey, then one day to the Middle East and the Islamic world.

As for Europeans, they are unhappy about pressure to participate in a US-led “global war on terror” that they regard as dangerous and misconceived, and to go along with policies seemingly designed to antagonize their more difficult neighbors like Russia and the Islamic world.

5. The Minister reminded the Working Group that Pakistan was a founding member of the Human Rights Council and during its prior tenure on the Human Rights Council, from 2006-2011, it played an active role in its work and a constructive role in building convergences between the West and the Islamic world on the most contentious and challenging issues in the Council.
5- ذكّرت الوزيرة الفريق العامل بأن باكستان عضو مؤسس لمجلس حقوق الإنسان، وقد اضطلعت إبان فترة عضويتها في المجلس من 2006 إلى 2011 بدور نشط في أعماله، كما قامت بدور بناء من أجل تحقيق التقارب بين العالمين الغربي والإسلامي بشأن أكثر المسائل صعوبةً وإثارةً للجدل في المجلس.
