Reiterates its conviction that the participation of all the permanent members of the Security Council and the major maritime users of the Indian Ocean in the work of the Ad Hoc Committee is important and would greatly facilitate the development of a mutually beneficial dialogue to advance peace, security and stability in the Indian Ocean region;
٢ - تكرر تأكيد اقتناعها بأن مشاركة جميع أعضاء مجلس اﻷمن الدائمين وكذلك المستعملين البحريين الرئيسيين للمحيط الهندي في أعمال اللجنة المخصصة أمر هام ومن شأنه أن يسهل كثيرا قيام حوار مفيد للجميع من أجل تعزيز السلم واﻷمن والاستقرار في منطقة المحيط الهندئ؛

To that end, her delegation encouraged the Chairman to continue his consultations with members of the Committee, the permanent members of Security Council and the major maritime users of the Indian Ocean in order to determine the best approach to allow the work of the Committee to move forward.

The Assembly also, in paragraph 2 of resolution 52/44, expressed its conviction that participation of all the permanent members of the Security Council and the major maritime users of the Indian Ocean in the work of the Ad Hoc Committee is important and would greatly facilitate the development of a mutually beneficial dialogue to advance peace, security and stability in the Indian Ocean region.

11. As the Movement of Non-aligned Countries had emphasized, international cooperation and the participation of the great Powers and the major maritime users of the Indian Ocean were essential in order to overcome the difficulties facing the Committee.
11 - وقد أكدت حركة بلدان عدم الانحياز أن التعاون الدولي واشتراك القوى الكبرى وكبار المستخدمين البحريين للمحيط الهندي أمران أساسيان للتغلب على الصعاب التي تواجهها اللجنة.

The Committee might concentrate, among other things, on measures of political, economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation which could be developed between States of the region and the major maritime users of the Indian Ocean.
ويمكن للجنة أن تركز، في جملة أمور، على تدابير التعاون السياسي والاقتصادي والعلمي والتقني والثقافي الذي يمكن ايجاده بين دول المنطقة والمستخدمين البحريين الرئيسيين للمحيط الهندي.
