" ويرحب المجلس بالمساهمة المستمرة التي تقدمها بعثة مراقبي اﻷمم المتحدة في جورجيا، وقوة حفظ السلام الجماعية التابعة لرابطة الدول المستقلة، من أجل تثبيت استقرار الحالة في منطقة النزاع، ويلاحظ أن علاقة العمل بين البعثة وقوة حفظ السلام ما زالت حسنة.

On 20 December, UNOMIG and the peacekeeping force of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) resumed joint ground patrols in the Abkhaz-controlled lower Kodori Valley, which had been suspended after the October hostilities.
وفي 20 كانون الأول/ديسمبر استأنفت البعثة وقوة حفظ السلام التابعة لرابطة الدول المستقلة الدوريات البرية المشتركة في المنطقة السفلى من وادي كودوري التي يسيطر عليها الأبخاز وهي دوريات توقفت بعد معارك تشرين الأول/أكتوبر.

وإذ يرحب في هذا السياق بما قدمته قوة حفظ السلام وبعثة المراقبين من إسهام في تحقيق استقرار الحالة في منطقة النزاع، وإذ يلاحظ أن التعاون بين بعثة المراقبين وقوة حفظ السلام يسيــر علـى نحـو طيب وأنه استمر في الازديــاد، وإذ يؤكــد أهميـة مواصلـة التعاون والتنسيق بينهمـا بصــورة وثيقــة فــي أداء الولايات المنوطة بكل منهما،

It calls upon the parties to take all measures in their power to prevent mine-laying and intensified activities by armed groups and to cooperate fully with the Observer Mission and the peacekeeping force in order to honour their commitments to ensure the safety and the freedom of movement of all personnel of the United Nations, the peacekeeping force and international humanitarian organizations.
ويطلب المجلس من الطرفين أن يتخذا كل ما في وسعهما من تدابير لمنع بث اﻷلغام والأنشطة المكثفة التي تزاولها الجماعات المسلحة، وأن يتعاونا تعاونا كاملا مع بعثة المراقبين وقوة حفظ السلام من أجل الوفاء بالتزاماتهما بكفالة سلامة جميع أفراد اﻷمم المتحدة وقوة حفظ السلام والمنظمات اﻹنسانية الدولية، وضمان حرية تنقلهم.

Underlines that it is the primary responsibility of both sides to provide appropriate security and to ensure the freedom of movement throughout the zone of conflict of the Mission, the peacekeeping force of the Commonwealth of Independent States and other international personnel, and calls upon both sides to fulfil their obligations in this regard and to extend full cooperation to the Mission and the peacekeeping force;
17 - يشدد على أن المسؤولية الرئيسية عن توفير الأمن الملائم وكفالة حرية تنقل أفراد البعثة وقوة حفظ السلام التابعة لرابطة الدول المستقلة والموظفين الدوليين الآخرين في كل أنحاء منطقة الصراع تقع على عاتق الجانبين، ويهيب بكلا الجانبين الوفاء بالتزاماتهما في هذا الصدد والتعاون التام مع البعثة وقوة حفظ السلام؛
