17. The Ministers of Defence of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Republic of Rwanda present at the meeting adopted the above recommendations.

2. The governments of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Republic of Rwanda have sought to find an expeditious manner of implementing these decisions.

Noting with satisfaction the improvement in the situation between the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Republic of Rwanda, in particular the encouraging outcomes of the meetings of the Democratic Republic of the Congo-Rwanda-Uganda Tripartite Commission on security in that part of the Great Lakes region,

In conclusion, Rwanda requests the Security Council to approach the authorities of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and to urge them to remain calm, to respect and implement all the provisions of the Lusaka Peace Agreement that they voluntarily signed with their partners, including the Rassemblement Congolais pour la Démocratie and the Republic of Rwanda.
وختاما، تطلب رواندا إلى مجلس الأمن السعي لدى سلطات جمهورية الكونغو الديمقراطية ومطالبتها بالحفاظ على هدوئها ورصانتها وباحترام وتطبيق جميع بنود اتفاق لوساكا للسلام الذي وقعته بملء إرادتها مع شركائها ومن بينهم التجمع الكونغولي من أجل الديمقراطية وجمهورية رواندا.
