5 - ويُدرك المؤتمر أهمية الدور الذي يؤديه إنشاء مناطق جديدة خالية من الأسلحة النووية وتوقيع الدول الحائزة للأسلحة النووية بروتوكولات للمناطق الجديدة أو القائمة في تقديم ضمانات الأمن السلبية إلى الدول غير الحائزة للأسلحة النووية الأطراف في معاهدة عدم انتشار الأسلحة النووية في المناطق المعنية.

The Committee also takes note of the recent ratification of the Protocol to Prevent, Suppress and Punish Trafficking in Persons, Especially Women and Children, Supplementing the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime, and the signature of the Council of Europe Convention on Action against Trafficking in Human Beings.
