17- كما ستحث الجمعية العامة الحكومات على المشاركة بنشاط في الاجتماعات التحضيرية الإقليمية، حيثما كان ذلك مناسباً، ودعوة ممثليها إلى النظر في البنود المواضيعية لجدول أعمال المؤتمر الثالث عشر ومواضيع حلقات العمل التي ستُعقد خلاله، وتقديم توصيات ذات توجُّه عملي لينظر فيها المؤتمر الثالث عشر.

12- تحثّ المشاركين في الاجتماعات التحضيرية الإقليمية على أن ينظروا في البنود الموضوعية لجدول أعمال المؤتمر الثالث عشر ومواضيع حلقات العمل التي ستُعقد خلاله، وأن يقدّموا توصيات ذات توجُّه عملي يُستند إليها في إعداد مشاريع التوصيات والاستنتاجات لكي ينظر فيها المؤتمر الثالث عشر؛

The General Assembly, in its resolution 66/179, requested the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice to approve the overall theme, the agenda items and the topics of the workshops of the Thirteenth Congress at its twenty-first session.

In its resolution 63/193, the General Assembly reiterated its request to the Secretary-General to facilitate the organization of regional preparatory meetings for the Twelfth Congress; and urged participants in the meetings to examine the substantive items on the agenda and the topics of the workshops of the Congress and to make action-oriented recommendations.
4- وكررت الجمعية العامة، في قرارها 63/193، طلبها إلى الأمين العام بأن ييسّر تنظيم الاجتماعات الإقليمية التحضيرية للمؤتمر الثاني عشر، وحثّت المشاركين في هذه الاجتماعات على دراسة البنود الموضوعية المدرجة في جدول أعمال المؤتمر الثاني عشر ومواضيع حلقات العمل المنظّمة في إطاره وعلى تقديم توصيات عملية المنحى.
