١٨ - تحث الهيئات الحكومية الدولية على ألا تدخر جهدا في مرحلة التخطيط لمراعاة اجتماعات المجموعات اﻹقليمية وغيرها من المجموعات الرئيسية للدول اﻷعضاء، وعلى أن تدرج مثل هذه الاجتماعات في برنامج عملها وتخطر مكتب خدمات المؤتمرات في وقت مبكر بأي حالات إلغاء لكي يتسنى قدر الامكان إعادة تخصيص موارد خدمة المؤتمرات غير المستغلة، لاجتماعات المجموعات اﻹقليمية والمجموعات الرئيسية اﻷخرى للدول؛
