Data on international migration are derived from the Population Division publications Trends in Total Migrant Stock: The 2003 Revision,7 International Migration Report 20028 and World Economic and Social Survey 2004 (Part two: International migration).9 These publications present estimates of levels and trends of international migration for each country and area of the world.
