However, at the staff member's request and upon production of a certificate from a duly recognized medical practitioner indicating that she is fit to continue to work, the absence may be permitted to commence less than six weeks but normally not less than two weeks before the anticipated date of birth;
إلاّ أنه، إذا طلبت الموظفة ذلك وقدّمت شهادة من طبيب ممارس معترف به رسميا تبيّن أنها قادرة على الاستمرار في العمل، يجوز بدء الغياب قبل الموعد المتوقع للولادة بأقل من ستة أسابيع ولكن ليس بأقل من أسبوعين عادة؛

However, at the individual's request and upon production of a certificate from a duly qualified medical practitioner or midwife indicating that she is fit to continue to work, the absence may be permitted to commence less than six weeks but normally not less than two weeks before the anticipated date of birth.
إلا أنه يجوز، إذا طلبت الموظفة ذلك وقدمت شهادة من طبيب مؤهل رسميا أو قابلة مؤهلة رسميا تفيد بأنها قادرة على الاستمرار في العمل، السماح ببدء الغياب قبل الموعد المتوقع للولادة بفترة تقل عن ستة أسابيع ولكن لا تقل، عادة، عن أسبوعين.
