On depositing its instruments of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession, a State which is not a party to a treaty listed in the Annex may declare in writing that, in the application of this Convention to that State Party, that treaty shall not be deemed to be included in the Annex.

" 1. Any State may, at the time of signature, ratification, acceptance or accession, or at any time thereafter, reserve the right to exclude the application of this Convention to contracts that provide for carriage by sea and by other modes of transport in addition to sea carriage.
" 1- يجوز لأي دولة، حين التوقيع أو التصديق أو القبول أو الانضمام، أو في أي وقت بعد ذلك، أن تحتفظ بالحق في استبعاد تطبيق هذه الاتفاقية على عقود النقل بالبحر أو بأيّ وسائط نقل أخرى بالإضافة إلى النقل البحري.

Reservations 1. Any State may, at the time of signature, ratification, acceptance, approval, or accession, or at any time thereafter, reserve the right to exclude the application of this Convention to any or all of the following :
1- يجوز لأي دولة، عند توقيع الاتفاقية، أو التصديق عليها، أو قبولها، أو الموافقة عليها، أو الانضمام إليها، أو في أي وقت لاحق، أن تحتفظ بحق عدم تطبيق الاتفاقية على أي من الحالات التالية أو كلها:

(b) On depositing its instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession of this Convention, a State which is not a party to a treaty listed in the Annex may declare that, in the application of this Convention to that State Party, offences specified in that treaty shall not be treated as terrorist offences.
)ب( يجوز لدولة غير طرف في معاهدة من المعاهدات الواردة في المرفق أن تعلن، عند إيداعها وثائق التصديق على هذه الاتفاقية، أو قبولها أو اعتمادها أو الانضمام إليها، أن الجرائم المحددة في تلك المعاهدة لن تعتبر جرائم إرهابية عند تطبيق هذه الاتفاقية على الدولة الطرف.

2. (a) On depositing its instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession of this Convention, a State which is not a party to a treaty listed in the Annex may declare that, in the application of this Convention to that State Party, offences specified in that treaty shall not be treated as offences for the purposes of article 2 (1) (a).
٢ -)أ( يجوز لدولة غير طرف في معاهدة من المعاهدات الواردة في المرفق أن تعلن، عند إيداعها وثائق التصديق على هذه الاتفاقية، أو قبولها أو اعتمادها أو الانضمام إليها، أن الجرائم المحددة في تلك المعاهدة لن تعتبر جرائم بالمعنى الوارد في المادة ٢ )١( )أ(، وذلك عند تطبيق هذه الاتفاقية على الدولة الطرف.

“(b) On depositing its instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession of this Convention, a State which is not a party to a treaty listed in the annex may declare that, in the application of this Convention to that State Party, offences specified in that treaty shall not be treated as offences within the ambit of this Convention.
" )ب( يجوز لدولة غير طرف في معاهدة من المعاهدات الواردة في المرفق أن تعلن، عند إيداعها وثائق التصديق على هذه الاتفاقية، أو قبولها أو اعتمادها أو الانضمام إليها، أن الجرائم المحددة في تلك المعاهدة لا تعتبر جرائم إرهابية عند تطبيق هذه الاتفاقية على الدولة الطرف.

2. (a) On depositing its instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession, a State Party which is not a party to a treaty listed in the annex may declare that, in the application of this Convention to the State Party, the treaty shall be deemed not to be included in the annex referred to in paragraph 1, subparagraph (a).
٢ - )أ( لدى إيداع صك التصديق أو القبول أو الموافقة أو الانضمام، يجوز لدولة طرف ليست طرفا في معاهدة من المعاهدات المدرجة في المرفق، أن تعلن، عند تطبيق هذه الاتفاقية على الدولة الطرف، أن تلك المعاهدة تعتبر غير مدرجة في المرفق المشار إليه في الفقرة الفرعية )أ( من الفقرة ١.

(48) The Committee is concerned that the State party has entered a declaration to the Hague Convention on Intercountry Adoption whereby it does not extend the application of this Convention to its Overseas Territories.
