1. Any Contracting State may declare, in accordance with article 21, that it will apply this Convention only:
1- يجوز لأي دولة متعاقدة أن تعلن، وفقا للمادة 21، أنها لن تطبق هذه الاتفاقية إلا:

1 - يجوز للدولة أن تعلن في أي وقت أنها لن تطبق هذه الاتفاقية على أنواع معينة من الإحالات أو على إحالة فئات معينة من المستحقات مبينة بوضوح في الإعلان.

" 2. Any State may declare at the time of the deposit of its instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession that it will not apply this Convention to the matters specified in its declaration.
" 2- يجوز لأي دولة أن تعلن، وقت إيداع صك تصديقها أو قبولها أو اقرارها أو انضمامها، أنها لن تطبق هذه الاتفاقية على المسائل التي تحددها في إعلانها.

" 1. Any State may at any time make a reservation to the effect that it shall apply this Convention [or any specific provision thereof] only to data messages in connection with an existing or contemplated contract to which, pursuant to the law of that State, a specific international convention clearly identified in the reservation made by that State is to be applied.
" 1- يجوز لأي دولة أن تصدر في أي وقت تحفظا مفاده أنها لن تطبق هذه الاتفاقية [أو أي حكم معين منها] إلا على رسائل البيانات التي تتعلق بعقد قائم أو مرتقب يتعين أن تطبق عليه، بمقتضى قانون تلك الدولة، اتفاقية دولية معينة مبينة بوضوح في التحفظ الصادر عن تلك الدولة.

5. A State Party may decide to apply this Convention to its warships or other vessels described in paragraph 4, in which case it shall notify the Secretary-General thereof specifying the terms and conditions of such application. "
5 - يجوز لدولة طرف أن تطبق هذه الاتفاقية على السفن الحربية التابعة لها أو سفن أخرى موصوفة في الفقرة 4، ويتعين عليها في هذه الحال أن تخطر الأمين العام بذلك محددة أحكام هذا التطبيق وشروطه " .

Any State may declare at any time that it will not apply this Convention [or any specific provision thereof] to international contracts falling within the scope of [any of the above conventions.] [one or more international agreements, treaties or conventions to which the State is a Contracting Party and which are identified in that State's declaration.]
" 3- يجوز لأي دولة أن تعلن في أي وقت أنّها لن تطبق هذه الاتفاقية [أو أي حكم معين من أحكامها] على العقود الدولية التي تندرج في نطاق [أي من الاتفاقيات المذكورة أعلاه.] [واحد أو أكثر من الاتفاقات أو المعاهدات أو الاتفاقيات الدولية التي تكون الدولة المعنية طرفا متعاقدا فيها وتحددها تلك الدولة في اعلانها.]

Any State may declare at any time that it will not apply this Convention [or any specific provision thereof] to data messages in connection with an existing or contemplated contract to which one or more of the international conventions referred to in article 1, paragraph 1, are to be applied, provided that the relevant conventions shall be clearly identified in the declaration made by that State.

Any State may declare in writing at any time that it will not apply this Convention to international contracts falling within the scope of [any of the conventions referred to in paragraph 1 of this article][any international agreements, treaties or conventions, including any of the conventions referred to in paragraph 1 of this article, to which the State is a Contracting Party and which are identified in that State's declaration]. "
