5-1 يتخذ المتعاقد التدابير اللازمة لمنع التلوث وغيره من المخاطر التي قد تنشأ من الأنشطة التي يضطلع بها في المنطقة على البيئة البحرية بقدر ما يكون ذلك ممكنا بشكل معقول متبعا نهجا تحوطيا وأفضل الممارسات البيئية.
