The rights of accredited Arab and foreign journalists and media correspondents in the Republic of Yemen are specified under article 29 of the Act, as follows:
210- وتنص المادة 29 على تمتع الصحفيين العرب والأجانب ومراسلي وسائل الإعلام المعتمدين في الجمهورية اليمنية بالحقوق الآتية:

كما نصت المادة 28 أن " لوزارة الإعلام اعتماد الصحفيين العرب والأجانب مراسلين للصحف ووكالات الأنباء ومحطات الإذاعة والتلفزيون العربية والأجنبية لمدة عام قابل للتجديد لممارسة عملهم الصحفي داخل البلاد عملاً بمبدأ المعاملة بالمثل، وللوزارة رفض أو إلغاء اعتمادهم " .

41. Speaking on behalf of his Government, the Syrian Minister of Information confirmed that, from the beginning of December 2011 to 15 January 2012, the Government had accredited 147 Arab and foreign media organizations. Some 112 of those organizations entered Syrian territory, joining the 90 other accredited organizations operating in Syria through their full-time correspondents.
41 - أكدت الحكومة السورية على لسان وزير إعلامها أنها منحت موافقات لـ (147) وسيلة إعلامية عربية وأجنبية مختلفة منذ بداية شهر ديسمبر 2011 وحتى 15/1/2012، دخل منها الأراضي السورية (112) وسيلة إعلامية، إلى جانب (90) وسيلة أخرى معتمدة في سوريا، وتعمل عبر مراسليها بشكل دائم.
