The draft resolution was introduced by the representative of Egypt, in his capacity as Chairman of the Group of Arab States for the month of November 1995, at the 16th meeting of the Committee on 8 November 1995.
وقد عرض ممثل مصر مشروع القرار، بوصفه رئيسا لمجموعة الدول العربية لشهر تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر ١٩٩٥، في الجلسة السادسة عشرة التي عقدتها اللجنة في ٨ تشرين الثاني/ نوفمبر ١٩٩٥.

It is sponsored by the following States: Afghanistan, Egypt — in its capacity as Chairman of the Group of Arab States for the month of November 1995 — and Malaysia.
وشاركت في تقديمه الدول التالية: أفغانستان، ومصر - بوصفها رئيسة لمجموعة الدول العربية لشهر تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر ١٩٩٥ - وماليزيا.

45. At the request of the Permanent Representative of Qatar, in his capacity as Chairman of the Group of Arab States for the month of March 1997, and on behalf of the members of the League of Arab States,14 the Security Council met on 21 March 1997.
٤٥ - بناء على طلب الممثل الدائم لقطر، بصفته رئيس مجموعة الدول العربية لشهر آذار/ مارس ١٩٩٧، وبالنيابة عن أعضاء جامعة الدول العربية)١٤(، اجتمع مجلس اﻷمن في ٢١ آذار/ مارس ١٩٩٧.

52. After the submission by the Secretary-General of the report requested under General Assembly resolution ES-10/2, the tenth emergency session was resumed on 15 July 1997 at the request of the Permanent Representative of Egypt, in his capacity as Chairman of the Group of Arab States for the month of July 1997.
٥٢ - بعد تقديم اﻷمين العام التقرير المطلوب بموجب قرار الجمعية العامة دإط -١٠/٢، استؤنفت الدورة الطارئة العاشرة في ١٥ تموز/يوليه ١٩٩٧ بناء على طلب المندوب الدائم لمصر، بوصفه رئيس مجموعة الدول العربية لشهر تموز/يوليه ١٩٩٧.

6. On 14 November, Afghanistan, Egypt, in its capacity as Chairman of the Group of Arab States for the month of November 1995, and Malaysia submitted a revised draft resolution (A/C.1/50/L.19/Rev.1), which contained the following changes:
٦ - وفي ١٤ تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر، قامت أفغانستان وماليزيا ومصر، بصفتها رئيسة مجموعة الدول العربية لشهر تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر ١٩٩٥، بتقديم مشروع قرار منقح )A/C.1/50/L.19/Rev.1(. تضمن التغييرات التالية:

In pursuance of General Assembly resolution ES-10/5 of 17 March 1998, the emergency special session was resumed on 5 February 1999 at the request of the Permanent Representative of Jordan, in his capacity as Chairman of the Group of Arab States for the month of January 1999.
وعملا بقرار الجمعية العامة دإط - ٠١/٥ المؤرخ ٧١ آذار/ مارس ٨٩٩١، استؤنفت الدورة الاستثنائية الطارئة في ٥ شباط/فبراير ٩٩٩١ بناء على طلب المندوب الدائم لﻷردن، بصفته رئيس مجموعة الدول العربية لشهر كانون الثاني/يناير ٩٩٩١.

37. The Security Council met on 14 October 2003, at the request of the Permanent Representative of the Syrian Arab Republic in his capacity as Chairman of the Group of Arab States for the month of October (see S/2003/973).
37 - واجتمع مجلس الأمن في 14 تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2003، بناء على طلب الممثل الدائم للجمهورية العربية السورية، بصفته رئيس مجموعة الدول العربية لشهر تشرين الأول/أكتوبر (انظر S/2003/973).

39. The Security Council met on 23 and 25 March 2004, at the request of the Chargé d'affaires a.i. of the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya in his capacity as Chairman of the Group of Arab States for the month of March (see S/2004/233).
39 - واجتمع مجلس الأمن يومي 23 و 25 آذار/مارس 2003 بناء على طلب مقدم من القائم بالأعمال بالنيابة للجماهيرية العربية الليبية، بصفته رئيسا لمجموعة الدول العربية لشهر آذار/مارس ( انظر S/2004/233).

40. The Security Council met on 19 April 2004, at the request of the Permanent Representative of Egypt in his capacity as Chairman of the Group of Arab States for the month of April (see S/2004/303).
40 - واجتمع مجلس الأمن يوم 19 نيسان/أبريل 2004 بناء على طلب الممثل الدائم لمصر، بصفته رئيسا لمجموعة الدول العربية لشهر نيسان/أبريل ( انظر S/2004/303).

41. The Security Council met on 19 May 2004, at the request of the Permanent Representative of Yemen in his capacity as Chairman of the Group of Arab States for the month of May (see S/2004/393).

42. The Security Council met on 4 October 2004, at the request of the Permanent Representative of Tunisia in his capacity as Chairman of the Group of Arab States for the month of October (S/2004/779).

42. At the request of the Permanent Representative of Jordan, in his capacity as Chairman of the Group of Arab States for the month of March 2002 (S/2002/329), and the Permanent Representative of Qatar (S/2002/331), the Security Council resumed its consideration of the agenda item.
42 - وبناء على طلب الممثل الدائم للأردن، بصفته رئيس مجموعة الدول العربية لشهر آذار/مارس 2002 (S/2002/329)، والممثل الدائم لقطر (S/2002/331)، استأنف مجلس الأمن نظره في بند جدول الأعمال.

46. On 18 and 19 April 2002, at the request of the Permanent Representative of Tunisia, in his capacity as Chairman of the Group of Arab States for the month of April 2002 (S/2002/431), the Security Council resumed its consideration of the agenda item.
46 - وفي 18 و 19 نيسان/أبريل 2002، وبناء على طلب الممثل الدائم لتونس، بصفته رئيس مجموعة الدول العربية لشهر نيسان/أبريل 2002 (S/2002/431)، استأنف مجلس الأمن نظره في بند جدول الأعمال.

48. The Security Council met again on 3 May 2002 at the request of the Chargé d'affaires a.i. of the Permanent Mission of the Sudan, in his capacity as Chairman of the Group of Arab States for the month of May 2002 (S/2002/510).
48 - واجتمع مجلس الأمن من جديد في 3 أيار/مايو 2002 بناء على طلب القائم بالأعمال بالنيابة لبعثة السودان الدائمة، بصفته رئيس مجموعة الدول العربية لشهر أيار/مايو 2002 (S/2002/510).

5. At the 16th meeting, on 8 November, the representative of Egypt, in his capacity as Chairman of the Group of Arab States for the month of November 1995, introduced a draft resolution entitled " The risk of nuclear proliferation in the Middle East " (A/C.1/50/L.19), which was later also sponsored by Afghanistan.
٥ - في الجلسة ١٦ المعقودة في ٨ تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر، قدم ممثل مصر بصفته رئيس مجموعة الدول العربية لشهر تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر ١٩٩٥، مشروع قرار بعنوان " خطر الانتشار النووي في الشرق اﻷوسط " )A/C.1/50/L.19( الذي شاركت أفغانستان أيضا في تقديمه فيما بعد.

The Committee resumed its consideration of the item and the representative of Egypt introduced the draft resolution (in her capacity as Chairman of the Group of Arab States for the month of November and on behalf of the sponsors as listed as well as Indonesia).
استأنفت اللجنة نظرها في البند وعرضت ممثلة مصر مشروع القرار )بصفتها رئيسة مجموعة الدول العربية لشهر تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر وبالنيابة عن المشتركين في تقديم المشروع كما وردت اسماؤهم في القائمة علاوة على اندونيسيا(.
