As for the draft resolution A/C.4/57/L.19/Rev.1, the Canadian delegation again voted for its adoption based on its longstanding opposition to Israeli practices affecting the human rights of Palestinians and other Arabs in the occupied territories, although the negative portrayal of the practices of only one side would not contribute to the achievement of peace.
