If a State requests an extradition for several offences, it is sufficient that at least one of the offences should be punishable under Argentine law for extradition to be granted for the others.

7. In its reply, the Government of Argentina noted that the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination had been incorporated into Argentine law and granted constitutional rank through Act No. 26.162.

29. Argentina takes note of recommendations 99.27 and 99.28, stressing that discrimination in general, and racial discrimination in particular, are prohibited under Argentine law through Act No. 23.592, and that both are classified as civil offences.

Regarding the benefit for other persons or entities, and in order to avoid evidentiary problems and to achieve greater safeguarding of the legally protected interest, Argentine law ignores the subsequent use that may be given to the embezzled property, and article 261 of the Criminal Code penalizes the mere separation, severance and extraction of the said property from the custody of the public official.

As explained in the report on the implementation of subparagraph 1 (b) of resolution 1373 (2001) (S/2001/1340), Argentine law does not characterize terrorism or terrorist acts as a separate offence and says nothing about terrorism being a component of any criminal offence or an aggravating circumstance.
