13. These actions carry with them a real threat that the process of peaceful settlement will be undermined and that the Armenian-Azerbaijani armed conflict will escalate, and they seriously impair prospects for the establishment of peace, stability and security in our region.
٣١- إن هذه اﻷعمال تنطوي على تهديد حقيقي بتقويض عملية التسوية السلمية وتصاعد النزاع المسلح بين أرمينيا وأذربيجان كما أنها تضعف على نحو خطير إمكانيات تحقيق السلم والاستقرار واﻷمن في منطقتنا.

A special paragraph proposed for insertion in the final Summit Declaration by the Chairman-in-Office and Co-Chairmen of the OSCE Minsk Conference contained principles upon which the settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict should be based.
فقد كانت هناك فقرة خاصة اقترح الرئيس الحالي للمؤتمر ورئيسا مؤتمر مينسك المنبثق عن المنظمة إدخالها في اﻹعلان الختامي للقمة. وتتضمن هذه الفقرة عدة مبادئ ينبغي أن تستند إليها تسوية النزاع بين أرمينيا وأذربيجان.

Nevertheless, I should like to note with satisfaction that the principles for the settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict suggested by the Co-Chairmen of the Minsk Conference and the OSCE Chairman-in-Office were fully supported by 53 OSCE member States.
