14. In accordance with article 23 of the Convention, the Permanent Secretariat shall make arrangements for sessions of the Committee and provide it with services as required
٤١- عملاً بالمادة ٣٢ من الاتفاقية، تضع اﻷمانة الدائمة الترتيبات المتعلقة بدورات اللجنة وتقدم الخدمات اللازمة لها.

1. Article 8, paragraph 2, of the Convention provides that the functions of the secretariat shall be, inter alia, to make arrangements for sessions of the Conference of the Parties (COP) and its subsidiary bodies and to provide them with services as required.
1- تنص الفقرة 2 من المادة 8 من الاتفاقية على أن تشمل مهام الأمانة، في جملة أمور، اتخاذ الترتيبات المتعلقة بدورات مؤتمر الأطراف ودورات هيئاته الفرعية وتقديم الخدمات اللازمة إليها.

1. Article 8, paragraph 2, of the Convention provides that the functions of the secretariat shall be, inter alia, to make arrangements for sessions of the Conference of the Parties and its subsidiary bodies and to provide them with services as required.
1- تنص الفقرة 2 من المادة 8 من الاتفاقية على أن تتولى الأمانة، في جملة أمور، اتخاذ الترتيبات المتعلقة بدورات مؤتمر الأطراف ودورات هيئاته الفرعية وتقديم الخدمات اللازمة إليها.

(a) to make arrangements for sessions of the Conference of the Parties and its subsidiary bodies established under the Convention and to provide them with services as required;

6. Requests the Convention secretariat to make arrangements for sessions of both subsidiary bodies on the basis of annexes II and III to this decision.
٦ - يطلب إلى أمانة المؤتمر أن تتخذ الترتيبات لعقد دورات للهيئتين الفرعيتين كلاهما وفقا للمرفقين الثاني والثالث بهذا المقرر.

(a) To make arrangements for sessions of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention and to provide services for those sessions as required;
)أ( اتخاذ الترتيبات الخاصة بدورات مؤتمر اﻷطراف في الاتفاقية ، وتوفير الخدمات لتلك الدورات حسب الاقتضاء ؛

19. Requests the Executive Secretary to give priority in allocating the budget to implementing decisions agreed by Parties at COP 8, arrangements for sessions of the COP and its subsidiary bodies, and facilitation of requests from affected developing country Parties for assistance with the compilation and communication of information required under the Convention;
19- يطلب إلى الأمين التنفيذي أن يعطي الأولوية في تخصيص الميزانية لتنفيذ المقررات التي أقرتها الأطراف في الدورة الثامنة لمؤتمر الأطراف، والترتيبات اللازمة لعقد دورات مؤتمر الأطراف وهيئتيه الفرعيتين، وتيسير طلبات المساعدة المقدمة من البلدان الأطراف النامية المتضررة فيما يتعلق بتجميع المعلومات المطلوبة في إطار الاتفاقية وإحالتها؛

Article 8.2 of the Convention provides that the functions of the secretariat shall be, inter alia, “to make arrangements for sessions of the Conference of the Parties and its subsidiary bodies established under the Convention and to provide them with services as required”.
1- تنص المادة 8-2 من الاتفاقية على أن يكون من مهام الأمانة " اتخاذ الترتيبات المتعلقة بدورات مؤتمر الأطراف ودورات هيئاته الفرعية المنشأة بموجب الاتفاقية وتقديم الخدمات اللازمة إليها " .

٨- يطلب إلى أمانة اﻹتفاقية أن تتخذ الترتيبات لعقد دورات للهيئتين الفرعيتين كلتيهما على أساس المرفقين الثاني والثالث بهذا المقرر.

Requests the secretariat to make arrangements for sessions of both subsidiary bodies according to the following schedule. When possible, these sessions should be held consecutively, starting with the SBSTA, and would last for a week.
٦- يطلب الى اﻷمانة أن تتخذ الترتيبات لعقد دورات للهيئتين الفرعيتين وفقا للجدول التالي وتعقد هذه الدورات بالتعاقب، حيثما أمكن، والبدء بالهيئة الفرعية للمشورة العلمية والتكنولوجية، وتستمر لمدة أسبوع واحد.

The Conference of the Parties at its first session (COP 1), by its decision 6/CP.1 (see FCCC/CP/1995/7/Add.1), requested the Convention secretariat to make arrangements for sessions of the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA) and the Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI) on the basis of annexes II and III to that decision.
١- طلب مؤتمر اﻷطراف في دورته اﻷولى، بمقرره ٦/م أ-١ )انظر FCCC/CP/1995/7/Add.1( إلى أمانة الاتفاقية أن تتخذ الترتيبات لعقد دورات للهيئة الفرعية للمشورة العلمية والتكنولوجية وللهيئة الفرعية للتنفيذ على أساس المرفقين الثاني والثالث بهذا المقرر.

30. 30- يطلب إلى الأمين التنفيذي إعطاء الأولوية في تخصيص الميزانية لتنفيذ المقررات التي أقرّتها الأطراف في الدورة السابعة لمؤتمر الأطراف، والترتيبات اللازمة لعقد دورات مؤتمر الأطراف وهيئتيه الفرعيتين، وتيسير طلبات المساعدة من البلدان الأطراف النامية المتضررة فيما يتعلق بتجميع المعلومات المطلوبة في إطار الاتفاقية وإحالتها؛
