In that connection, it was suggested that possible future work of UNCITRAL in the area of securities should focus on directly held and non-traded securities, which were often the main asset that many small and medium-sized companies could offer as security for credit.
146- وفي هذا الصدد، ذكر أن الأعمال التي يمكن أن تضطلع بها الأونسيترال مستقبلا في مجال الأوراق المالية ينبغي لها أن تركّز على الأوراق المالية الممسوكة مباشرة والأوراق المالية غير المتداولة تجاريا، التي كثيرا ما تكون هي الموجودات الرئيسية التي يمكن للعديد من الشركات الصغيرة والمتوسطة أن تقدّمها كضمانة للائتمان.

It was observed that the general description of encumbered assets facilitated their use as security for credit and was a minimum standard, always leaving it to parties to describe the encumbered assets specifically, if they so wished.
